Tsurugi (the one with lightning powers) challenges Habikiri (the one with aura cloud powers), his childhood best friend, for the kingdom's throne. Tsurugi being born in full royalty blood fights Habikiri, who's born half royalty blood, out of jealousy of his power and fear of the possibility of Habikiri taking over the empire. Tsurugi feels that Habikiri doesn't deserve his in-born power and the seat to the throne because of their lineage differences.
